Another benefit to District 5 members comes from SailCoach's LaserCoach 2000 CD-ROM. If you go to their homepage via the SailCoach Logo below, then they will send to the home page owner (your webMaster) 15% of any sales they make. We will put any money we get into the District for trophies, regattas, and other benefits for District 5 members.
Two vendors have agreed to give special discounts to D5 ILCA members. This has been negotiated with the vendors in order to support ILCA NA Region and encourage membership in ILCA generally. All you have to do is fax a copy of your current membership card to the vendor to qualify for the discount. The discounts will vary depending on the type of product you are purchasing. This is a great way to get your ILCA membership effectively free.
The vendors so far are Glenmore Sailboats in Calgary, and Small Craft Advisories in California. Both vendors will deal over the phone and ship by courier or mail depending on the product. The cheapest way to get product from Small Craft is by regular mail but may take around four weeks before it arrives. Small Craft is not an authorized Laser dealer but is most supportive of Laser sailing and sailors. Check out Small Craft's laser parts pricing.
